Our Mission
The Luke R Smith Foundation was created in 2021 to honor Luke Smith who tragically passed away as a result of an automobile accident in 2020. Luke was a 2018 graduate of Amity High School. During his time at Amity High he was a stellar athlete, where he was a member of both the Amity High football and lacrosse teams. He then went on to pl
The Luke R Smith Foundation was created in 2021 to honor Luke Smith who tragically passed away as a result of an automobile accident in 2020. Luke was a 2018 graduate of Amity High School. During his time at Amity High he was a stellar athlete, where he was a member of both the Amity High football and lacrosse teams. He then went on to play Division II lacrosse at Franklin Pierce University. Apart from his athletic achievements, Luke will best be remembered as a sweet, humble, gracious, respectful and loving young man. The foundation is committed to keeping Luke’s memory alive by providing opportunities and financial assistance to student athletes who exemplify his good character and spirit and to fund other charitable causes that were near and dear to Luke’s heart.
